Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions below are a formal agreement between you and ‘The Birth Preparation Midwife’.

Confidentiality

The Birth Preparation Midwife agrees to maintain confidentiality in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).  

If ‘The Birth Preparation Midwife’ feels it is important to share your information to consult with your doctor, midwife, or other agencies, this will be done only with your permission.

Services and care

Any services provided by ‘The Birth Preparation Midwife’ does not replace normal midwifery and NHS care. If you have any concerns after your treatment, please contact ‘The Birth Preparation Midwife’ immediately or your local midwife or hospital.

If 'The Birth preparation Midwife' has any concerns about whether it is appropriate to treat you, she has the right to decline.  

Payment

Full payment will need to be made to confirm your appointment. Payment must be made by bank transfer by at least 24 hours before your appointment, an invoice and receipt will be provided.

Payment is non-refundable.

Cancellation & postponement

You must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel an appointment. Postponement is subject to personal circumstances. If you have your baby before the treatment/s is complete you will be offered alternative postnatal treatment/s up to 8 weeks postnatally. If you do not attend, without notice the treatment will be non-refundable.

Willing to provide treatments in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire

Travel over a 10 mile radius will be chargeable at 50 pence a mile

Covid 19

Before your treatment you must confirm you do not have any covid 19 symptoms or contact with anyone who has covid 19 or symptoms.
