What is breech presentation?
When a baby is breech presentation in the womb, it means the baby's bottom presents first down in the womb rather than the baby's head
What is moxibustion?
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese technique using Moxa sticks made of dried herbs which are lit, and the heat used on specific energy points on the toes
How does moxibustion work?
The energy points absorb the heat, relaxing your womb muscles, creating extra space and increasing your baby’s activity, which encourages your baby to turn from breech to head down. (Your baby may move a little more for a few hours after the treatment)
This is a course of treatments that can be performed from 34 weeks of pregnancy, I will teach you how to safely perform this treatment at home
This treatment can be taught 1-1 with me at your home
Moxibustion has success rate of upto 67% - 74% with first time mums & up to 76% for 2nd time + mums. (Tiran, 2018).
